New to purchasing a slot machine? That's great! Before you make your purchase, take some time to read our FAQ below which we hope will answer many of your common questions about slot machine legality, maintenance and other common questions. AZSlot.com strives for our prospective customers to be informed and educated on making their slot machine purchase decision with the right information. We want our customers to have a positive experience and to have peace of mind with their product.
PURCHASING A MACHINE

Q: What should I look for when purchasing a slot machine?
A: When purchasing a slot machine, be sure to turn on the machine and insist on playing the machine. Make sure to take a look at the condition of the reel strips, see if the machine accepts coins and make sure the machine pays out correctly. Pull the handle and press each button to make sure they function as intended. Ask the seller to test the bill acceptor. Take a look at the monitor and see if it functions correctly. Ask the seller about the machine such as what to do if you hit a jackpot or how to service the bill acceptor. Always insist on a jackpot kay with the sale of the machine as this is needed to turn off "jackpot mode" in order to resume normal play. If the seller is unable to answer your questions or allow you to play or inspect the machine, we would advise declining the purchase. Q: Should I purchase a machine from an auction or estate sale?
A: As most auctions sell slot machines 'AS IS' and do not provide prospective buyers the ability to test the product, we would advise against this as it is impossible to assess functionality until after the product is purchased. Machines left dormant for too long will need a new battery as well as reprogramming and often parts replacements. Purchasing from a business that deals specifically in slots will give you the peace of mind in your new purchase.

Q: I have been looking at multiple companies. What makes AZSlot.com different?
A: We are a family business who take great pride in our products and only sell what we ourselves would put in our own game room. We do a full refurbish in house and include a warranty on all of our slot machines with the exception of products marked 'AS IS'. Our company has an in-house web designer, photographer as well as very knowledgeable technicians. We strive for perfection and make every effort to provide our customers with a premium product at a reasonable price.

Q: I am active/retired military. Can you provide me a discount?
A: First off, thank you for your service! Our own family has a veteran and to show our appreciation, we would be more than happy to provide you with a 5% discount on a package purchase. We offer a 7% discount for retired military veterans. We do require verification of military status such as DD214, Military ID or another document to apply your discount. Please contact us for details.

Q: I live outside of Arizona. Can you advise if slot machines are legal in my state?

Q: I would like to purchase a machine. What do I need to provide in order to purchase a slot machine?
A: If you are purchasing by check or credit card, we will need a copy of your photo ID or driver's license for identity verification and as part of our agreement with the credit card company. Feel free to call or email us for details. Our contact information is here. We accept VIsa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal checks, cashiers checks or money orders. Make sure to confirm that slot machines are legal in your state/jurisdiction. We will be happy to answer any questions about this for you.

Q: Does AZSlot.com offer layaway plans?
A: Yes. Please be advised that we require a 20% down payment for a layaway plan.

Q: Can I purchase your slot machines to run a casino out of my home?
A: Running a gambling establishment out of your home is illegal even if you are having friends and neighbors come over to play with their own money. We would highly advise against this.

Q: How much maintenance do slot machines need?
A: When operated correctly, slot machine maintenance is minimal. We do recommend powering on the machine at least once a week to keep the battery running correctly. These machines are designed for constant use on the casino floor and will last many, many years. Q: What sort of business is AZSlot.com?
A: We are a private, family-owned business and have been selling slot machines since 2009. A majority of our business is conducted online and over the phone. we have a retail presence at 2508 W. Q: What are your shop hours?

Q: Are you credentialed with the U.S Department of Justice?
A: We have a license to sell slot machines with the U.S Department of Justice. We are also registered as a LLC with the Arizona Corporation Commission.

Q: Does AZSlot.com collect sales tax?
A: We collect sales tax for slot machine sales within the state of Arizona at a rate of 8.3%. We do not collect sales tax on out of state sales.

Q: Does the company provide service calls to my area?
A: Please give us a call so we can determine your location. Certain areas in Arizona may involve a surcharge for in-home service. Any servicing will be scheduled with our technician.

Q: Does AZSlot.com ship slot machines?
A: Yes, we partner with a dock to dock shipping provider. Please call or email us to request a shipping quote and we will work with our partner to obtain a quote. We have extensive experience shipping slot machines in the lower 48 states.

CUSTOM REQUESTS

Q: We are looking for a specific theme, but do not see it on the website. Would you be able to help me get this machine?
A: We have a large inventory of slot machine glass, reel strips and OEM game programs to help you put together a great game kit. Give us a call and we will assist you with finding the right game for your game room!

Q: Can I make special request such as adding the ability to accept coins, disconnect the cash out button on a machine that I purchase or adjust the payout percentage?
A: We can certainly accomodate your request. Please give us a call at 602-606-2400 so we can discuss details.

Q: I want to play with tokens instead of quarters or nickels. Can I do this?
A: Yes, please give us a call so we can explain how to make this conversion.

Q: What type of stools and stands do you carry? Do you offer different backers?
A: We carry the same stools found in Las Vegas casinos which are Gary Platt Stools. These are robust and in excellent condition. We also offer stands as well can can put together a package detail for interested customers. We have different chair backer designs available for those would you like a special chair design. Call us for details.

Q: Can you convert my slot machine game to a different game theme?
A: We can do this for IGT and Bally. Give us a call so we can discuss available themes.

Q: My machine does not pay out enough. Can you adjust the payout percentage?
A: Yes, please give us a call. Special chips will need to be purchased to reprogram your machine.

Q: My battery went out. Can you clear my machine?
A: Yes, please give us a call so we can coordinate reprogramming your machine.

Q: What types of Slot Machines do you offer?
A: We primarily offer IGT, Bally and Williams (WMS Gaming) machines. However, we do occasionally stock Konami and classic antique slot machines made by Mills and Pace as they arrive into inventory.

Q: Does AZSlot.com accept trades?
A: We may accept trades on a case by case basis. In most cases, a machine may be accepted as a credit towards a new slot machine purchase. Please contact us for details.

Q: Are consignments offered through AZSlot.com?
A: At this time, consignments are not being accepted by our company.

Q: Does AZSlot.com sell parts?
A: Individual parts are available for IGT and Bally Machines. Please contact us so we can assist with your request. Please note, we only sell parts to private customers only. All sales are final on parts and we make every effort to verify functionality of our parts.
